THE BERGMANN FAMILY

Global Missionaries serving alongside the Church in Ukraine

OUR WORK

We are thrilled to announce the official launch of Bergmann Ministries.

Dr. Jeff Bergmann is a retired U.S. Army officer with 29 years of distinguished military service. Throughout his career, he worked closely with soldiers and their families, gaining firsthand experience with trauma, grief, and the invisible wounds of war. Driven by a deep calling to serve those who sacrifice so much, Jeff earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a focus on trauma and PTSD. Jeff is also a devoted follower of Christ. He is uniquely equipped to integrate professional, trauma-informed therapy with compassionate biblical counseling — bringing both clinical expertise and the hope of the Gospel to those in crisis. Today, Jeff passionately serves on the mission field 12 weeks each year, providing counseling, training, and spiritual care to pastors, missionaries, chaplains, and ministry leaders affected by conflict, loss, and the demands of frontline ministry. His work reflects a lifelong commitment to healing hearts, strengthening the Church, and equipping God’s servants to continue their calling with resilience and renewed joy. It is with these skills and his family’s encouragement that Jeff has decided to launch Bergmann Ministries thereby entering into full-time ministry. Daniela, his wife of 28 years, will be joining him on the mission field along with their youngest daughter, Annabelle.

Bergmann Ministries is a Christian organization dedicated to supporting those who serve in ministry around the world. Our mission is to provide professional counseling, discipleship, training, and spiritual care for missionaries, pastors, and chaplains who face the unique emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges of ministry life.

Bergmann Ministries offers a range of services including individual, marriage, and family counseling, as well as specialized trauma counseling for those affected by crisis, loss, or conflict. In addition, Bergmann Ministries organizes conferences and training programs that equip pastors, chaplains, and ministry leaders with trauma-informed care skills. These initiatives enable participants to return to their congregations and ministries better prepared to provide effective, compassionate support to others in times of need.

With a particular focus on missionaries, chaplains, and soldiers serving the Lord in diverse and demanding environments, Bergmann Ministries is committed to fostering resilience, restoration, and renewed strength among those on the frontlines of Christian service.

As we begin this exciting new chapter, we invite you to join us—both in prayer and in financial partnership. Bergmann Ministries has partnered with Launch International, a registered U.S. 501(c)(3) organization, to support our tax-exempt fundraising efforts. This partnership allows friends and churches to give confidently and securely, knowing that every gift is stewarded with transparency and accountability.

As the war in Ukraine continues into its fourth year, the needs of pastors and missionaries remain urgent. We are currently focused on the upcoming Pastor & Missionary 2026 Summer Conference. Last year, we were honored to host this event—the impact was profound:

“Thank you for the trauma training. Last night was the first night that I have been able to sleep since the war began three years ago.”
— Ukrainian Trauma Training Participant, ministry leader and Mom whose husband was mobilized for military service

“I feel like I’ve rested—both in body and soul as I listened to your teachings. I’ve gained so many useful skills to use in ministering to others.”
— Ukrainian Trauma Training Participant, Pastor and Military Chaplain

Because the need is growing, we hope to greatly expand our training conferences in Ukraine allowing more ministry leaders to receive the rest, trauma-care training, and biblical encouragement they so desperately need to continue serving on the front lines of the Gospel. Our goal is to welcome as many pastors and missionaries as possible to receive this training all at no cost to them.

Your support directly equips frontline ministry leaders with the care, rest, and training they urgently need as they serve in the midst of war. Together, we can strengthen and sustain those who are bringing the hope of Christ to a nation in crisis. Together, we can strengthen and restore those who give their lives to serving others.

Will you partner with us today?

Every gift — no matter the size — directly supports those who are serving Christ on the front lines of a nation at war.

Your prayers, encouragement, and financial support will help make a lasting difference in the lives of those who serve on the frontlines of the Gospel.

Blessings,
The Bergmann Family
