DONNA GUSTAFSON

Serving with Frontera Missions

MY MINISTRY

God called me to Peru, in 2016, to share his love and give hope to his people. My jungle ministry started with a boy’s home where I was a house “Mom” to teenage boys. I started serving an indigenous tribe with bible classes and English lessons.

Now I am serving two indigenous tribes with discipleship training and children’s bible lessons. My mission has evolved to God calling me into a women’s ministry. The Spirit led me to a property on the Itaya River so, I used my retirement savings to buy the property and start building a Women’s Center, La Casa de Esperanza.

We are reaching children, youth, women and communities at La Casa de Esperanza. We are supporting the local churches and pastors with teaching materials and retreats for the pastors. Churches use our beach for baptisms in the river, and we are building cabins to house young women from deep in the jungle who want to go to secondary school. One of our biggest projects is the Christmas program where we share the story of our savior and gifts with the children.

Sharing God’s love and giving hope for a future is all a part of building God’s kingdom on earth. We at La Casa de Esperanza are called to build God’s kingdom on earth and we would like to share that mission with you by inviting you to participate in this mission!
