Hi! We are Mijail and Amber Urruchi, and together we want to serve the people of Peru! Our ministry began many years ago before we were even married. Mijail worked as a translator for short term mission teams that came here to Peru. Amber came to Peru 12 years ago as a short-term missionary serving in Lima, as well as small mountain and jungle villages. When we married, we knew that we wanted to serve the Lord in missions together! 

Over the years, we have dedicated time to training pastors in remote Peruvian villages, doing house to house Bible studies with families, teaching children God’s Word, and helping families during the pandemic who were left with little or no food.  

Now we are joining with Amber’s brother Keith Smith to work in the impoverished community of Jicamarca. Each week, we will visit houses, teaching the Bible. Also, we have children’s programs on Saturdays where children can learn more about who God is!

We also have a vision to help people in our own neighborhood, working specifically with Venezuelan refugees who have fled their country looking for a better life in Peru. Our hope is to share Christ’s love with them so they can see the hope that He brings!
